Last month, my adventure left off in Florence, Italy. I was only there two days before taking off for Milan. A few days later, I hopped back on the train and headed to Bern, Switzerland.
After Bern, I went to the big WWE event in Lyon, France.
I hoped back on the train and made my way to Paris for the week! Paris was absolutely delightful! I really enjoyed the city there! It was fun exploring during the day and the night! It was also great going to the Eiffel Tower. I was slightly bummed that I couldn’t go all of the way to the top, somebody said it was renovated and getting ready for the Summer Olympics. I was only able to go up half way but it was still cool. I also found out that the Eiffel Tower does special “sparkle lights” every night at 10pm, 11pm & midnight so I made sure to time my visit so I could see that!
After Paris, I had a slight change of plans. I was thinking about going to Canada for the summer but instead I decided to backtrack and return to Bangkok, Thailand for the week. It was a 12 hour flight but it was one of my most enjoyable flights. I had the row to myself and it was since to stretch out and not bump into somebody in the next seat. During my week in Bangkok, I got tipped off about a nearby rooftop pool so I was able to enjoy that one day and then then I made trip to get a very highly rated local dish: Mango Sticky Rice. Even though it was very delicious, it wasn’t exactly my favorite thing.
From Bangkok, I took a short 2 hour flight back to Singapore! I was in Singapore for only a week last time and I made a promise to come back so I could see the area more.
I arrived in Singapore on May 18th & after being on a constant go out of my backpack since late February, I decided to slow my travels down! I ended up getting a short-term apartment & I’m excited to explore this very beautiful city for a while!

Thank you for sharing!! I’m so happy your are hooked on life abroad ❤️
Oh my goodness Gaye, I love it so much! I’m planning to be out of the country for 11 out of 12 months (for the FEIE tax break). I’ll be back in September a quick minute and then back out again!

Awesome! Love Singapore – I have a list (small) of “worthy of a months stay” cities and that’s one of them. You might enjoy Hong Kong if you haven’t already visited. Enjoy your summer!
